C&K: Here's a wine site that I subscribe to that has some really great deals. I probably buy from them at least once every two weeks. The free shipping part is the clincher.

They offer one or two wines per day and sell out quickly. The champagnes can go really fast. They send an email with each offering. For me, it's definitely not spam mail.

Just received my Fed Ex shipment of Joe's Stone Crab Claws for a fantastic Mother's Day Dinner.  I ordered yesterday in Miami and it arrived today.  I set the table, make the salad and crack the claws.  The wine is chilled and I can't wait. We have an outdoor fireplace so I'm setting the table out there along with some Andrea Bocelli music in the background.

I think my two girl friends, Kenzie and Karol will be thrilled.  Beats roses!

Stop by any time, but it is not to late to order.  Your order today can be delivered tomorrow.  Even in Milwaukee or Afghanistan.

The stone crab dinner and lunch the next day were great.  I got to enjoy along with my girl friends.

Joe's stone crabs is a great special event and I hope some of you can enjoy it as well.

Placed my Joe's (Miami) stone crab order yesterday and they arrived today in Malibu at 10:00AM. Also got the cold slaw, creamy spinach and the key lime pie.  I'm setting the table and chilling the wine.  Can't wait. Wish others could partake...no black tie necessary, but champagne is a good thought.

There was no special ocasion, just a whim and craving.  The package came with a mallet and board as well to crack the claws.

Whoa, that was fantastic.

There was so much Stone Crab Claws that I think we will get four meals off the order.  At $226 that is $28.25 per person per meal for one of the best meals in your life.  It's also a great dining experience. No tip, no tax.

Light a candle and enjoy.

Well, we did get four meals per person and still have two servings of key lime pie left to enjoy.  The cold slaw was not my favorite...too much vinegar.  Next order will do the creamed spinach.  The key Lime pie is a must.

Net, net a killer deal!

Mother's Day is May 9, and Joe's stone crab claws with mustard sauce is way better than a dozen roses.  I have my tux out and the champagne is chilling. This is a meal to die for.  It is not inexpensive but it's a special event and it's for the mother of your children.

As a note never buy frozen crab claws at your local market.  Joe's claws are fresh and will arrive at your door within 24 hours from the ocean in "wet ice" never frozen!.

PS, the crabs are harvested from the SE Coast of Florida...no oil spill risk. The claws are removed and the crab is returned to the ocean and within two years the crabs grow new claws. What other food source can do that?

Captivated - You really need to try those stone crab claws with a nice bottle of Shea Vineyards Pinot Noir!

I probably have a few cases of Pinot Noir in my cellar mostly Willakenzie Estate (Oregon).

With stone crabs Ian Fleming and my 007 friend here in Malibu insists I wear a Tuxedo and have chilled champagne as an accompaniment. Have you forgotten "Goldfinger"?.

What are you going to wear with your Pinot and stone crab claws?  Maybe we shouldn't go there but the brimmed hat is a good start..

Captivated - if you love Oregon Pinot Noir you'll love the family vineyard:
Naturally my attire is dependent on the location at which we choose to indulge ourselves. An uptown girl always dresses appropriately.
